Communicates\n with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive\n health care, and nutritional needs. Maintains\n client / patient medical / surgical records Stays\n current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine. Assists\n in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure delivery of the\n highest quality care and exceptional client service. Presents\n a positive image of the hospital in the professional community and to the\n general public. A\n Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited\n university. Licensure\n in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be\n employed. DEA License Commitment\n to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary\n code of ethics. Demonstrates\n excellent verbal and written communication skills. Works\n collaboratively with hospital team members. Makes\n decisions confidently and effectively. Manages\n time and tasks appropriately. Models\n a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients. Commitment\n to ongoing educational development and growth
