This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Product Designer in California (USA) .

In this role, you will craft intuitive, engaging, and scalable experiences for a next-generation AI-powered document and collaboration platform. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to shape tools that impact millions of users, from document editing and data tables to dashboards and collaboration features. The position requires a combination of creative problem-solving, user-centered design, and technical execution, with the opportunity to influence both product strategy and design systems. You will conduct user research, develop prototypes, and deliver high-fidelity specifications while navigating complex UX challenges. This role thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where design decisions have a direct impact on productivity and user experience across a growing ecosystem.

Accountabilities :

  • Design and deliver intuitive user experiences for core platform features, including document editing, tables, navigation, sharing, and collaboration.
  • Lead end-to-end design workflows, from concept sketches and user flows to high-fidelity visuals and developer-ready specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions align with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Contribute to the design system, maintaining consistency while driving innovation across the product ecosystem.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to translate insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Present design rationale effectively through prototypes, presentations, and clear documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS, productivity tools, or collaboration software.
  • Strong interaction and visual design skills, demonstrated through a polished, user-centered portfolio.
  • Proven experience designing complex features such as document editing, tables, charts, or collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge and application of design systems to create scalable and consistent experiences.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results in a growing, iterative environment.
  • Experience designing for real-time collaboration or AI-powered features is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving, empathy, and usability-focused design skills.
