job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerform mechanical duties on equipment as instructed, in accordance with QA, health / safety and OSHA requirements and policies Disassemble, assemble and test equipment at the direction of the Workshop Manager Perform fabrication of lightweight apparatus and / or structures used in the maintenance of equipment Interface with project management, engineers, technical personnel and other staff as needed to complete projects. Perform housekeeping and maintenance activities as required Provide any additional support where needed This position has no supervisory responsibilities. A minimum of three years of experience with refurbishment / reconditioning on parts in a job shop or similar environment - REQUIRED Knowledge of disassembly, assembly, machining and fabrication methods including MIG, SMAW & TIG welding practices Knowledge of overhead crane, lift trucks and maintenance including hoisting and rigging techniques Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic & piping systems Knowledge of electrical systems (wiring motors and small panels) Knowledge in the use of hand and power tools Ability to read prints and drawings Ability to follow step-by-step procedures with accuracy Candidate must have good interpersonal and communication skills Must have a valid driver's license Education Requirements : Vocational or High School; Specialized Technical Training; or combination of training and experience Remain in a standing or walking position for extended periods of time Stoop, kneel and bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis Lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception Full-Time, 8-hour shift Monday to Friday, 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm, with 30 minutes for lunch Paid Vacation - 10 days in the first year (prorated to start date) 10 Paid Holidays - includes 1 'floating' holiday that the employee can choose Impressive Medical, Rx, Dental & Vision Insurance Long & Short Term Disability / AD&D / Company Paid Life Insurance 401K w / matching contributions Flexible Spending Account / Health Savings Account Tuition Reimbursement Annual Bonus And More!
