Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details :

  • Perform advanced radiographic procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, and OR work
  • Practice radiation safety adhering to ALARA standards and protect patients from harmful radiation
  • Operate equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations and perform quality control
  • Complete all exams based on Imaging Department Protocols or protocol with Radiologist
  • Assist with clerical duties, patient transportation, and telephone management
  • Work overtime as directed and take call as required
  • Assist or rotate to other imaging modalities when required within scope of licensure
  • Work holidays and weekends as needed
  • Must be self-motivated with ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Obtain appropriate informed consents and document medical history
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate service maintenance
  • Verify exam orders and patient identification through two means
  • Required education : ARRT registration in Radiology (R)
  • Current BLS Certification required (must obtain within 90 days if not current)
  • Prior experience as practicing Radiologic Technologist preferred
  • Cross-training encouraged in CT, MRI, DEXA, and Mammography
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and electronic records systems required
