About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Current nursing license.

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS required.

Must-Have : Previous charge experience is preferred. Travel experience is required.

Description :

Minimum experience of 1 year is required.

First-time travelers are not accepted.

Patient population includes infants to geriatrics.

General Emergency Department skills are required.

The nurse to patient ratio is 1 : 4.

There are 46 rooms, with an average daily census of 135.

Unit systems include Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR.

Scrub color required is navy blue.

RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days.

Availability to work every other weekend is required.

Floating to a sister campus may be necessary.

There are no call requirements.

If assigned to work during a major holiday, availability is expected.

A full compliance with requirements is necessary to start on time.

Compliance documents are due by the Tuesday prior to the start date.

References from two supervisory individuals are highly preferred.

The travel nurse must have a Georgia or Compact license.

Mandatory pre-application fee is required for candidates.

Modules are non-billable and vary by specialty.

Candidates must submit core items within 48 hours of signing the contract.
