Emergency Medicine opening in Quincy, IL - 2 hours to St Louis; 3 hours to Kansas City; 1.5 hours to Springfield IL- Service area of 100,000 people Position Details : - University town- Full time, permanent position- The Emergency Department physicians are employees of the Hospital and reside in the community.- Emergency medicine residency training and ABEM / AOBEM certification required. - Emergency Department physicians work progressive shifts of 10, 11, and 12 hours with four days on and four days off for a 32-day cycle followed by eight days off. - The Emergency Department is supported by attending physicians in all major specialty and sub-specialty fields. - There is an onsite helicopter service. - Is the Emergency Resource Hospital for five surrounding counties. - The Emergency Department is a Certified Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center with door-to-cath time under 30 minutes- Compensation and Benefits : - Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD & D insurance - Malpractice coverage with tail - 403(b) pension plan plus 457(b) tax-deferral option - Employee child care center. - $5,000 professional expense allowance - $360,000 Base Salary for 1,656 scheduled clinical hours of work - Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Assistance included - Eligibility for production-based annual bonus - Educational debt forgiveness loan, if applicable Health System Details : Two hospitals, a physician group, a four-year nursing education program, a foundation and a group of medical specialty businesses come together to form this Healthcare System.
