School Social Worker

Location : Plainfield, IL (9–12th Grade)

Dates : December 1st, 2025 – May 22nd, 2026

Schedule : 7-hour day with a 30-minute duty-free, unpaid lunch | Onsite | Full-Time

Compensation : Annualized salary of $61,000 – $70,000

About the Role

A school in Plainfield, IL, is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to join their team on a full-time basis during an FMLA leave. This role provides an excellent opportunity to support high school students through direct services, crisis intervention, and collaboration with a strong support team.

Responsibilities

Provide counseling and social-emotional support to students

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to meet student needs

Support students with IEPs, 504s, and general education interventions

Participate in crisis response and team meetings

Maintain documentation and compliance with district standards

Qualifications

Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) in School Social Work

Prior experience in a high school setting preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills
