We are hiring a Food Service Director to lead operations in a K?12 school setting (multiple schools, approx. 4,000 students). You'll manage the kitchen and office side of operations, lead a team, maintain compliance with USDA Child Nutrition regulations, and serve as a key partner to our client district.

Key Responsibilities :

• Direct daily kitchen and service operations while modeling exemplary service
• Develop student-centered, compliant menus that meet USDA NSLP requirements
• Oversee purchasing, food cost controls, P&L, and budget adherence
• Ensure proper implementation of HACCP and food safety procedures
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and training for all unit staff
• Manage catering and special events with creativity and precision
• Build and maintain strong relationships with school administration and community
• Foster a team culture aligned with Taher's Leadership Principles
• Ensure accurate production records, inventory, and cash handling
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and students
