The Area Vice President is a field-based leader responsible and accountable for the overall business operations of an assigned area. The Area Vice President ensures profitability while achieving maximum sales efficiencies by directly managing the Vice Presidents, Site Directors, or Project Directors at each location within their defined area. This position must ensure site goals align with the company's strategic goals.
How You'll Shine :
- Maintain the highest quality of leadership through effective coaching, training, guidance, and succession planning.
- Responsible for the achievement of the established targets in regards to VPG, net sales volume, and closing percentage of the relevant sales site(s).
- Ensure each site maintains a positive work environment and culture by achieving the highest level of ethics and integrity consistent with applicable regulatory standards and Wyndham values and policies.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a strong work relationship with key business partners and associates within and outside of Travel & Leisure Co. Ensures Sales and Marketing operations are integrated within the overall guest experience.
- Identify areas of process improvement and leverage best practices by working with appropriate corporate resources as necessary.
- Partner with Human Resources to minimize employee relations, talent development, wage and hour, and compliance issues and reduce exposure to litigation.
- Performs other duties as needed.
