Job Title : Registered Nurse

Job Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8H Days 07 : 30-16 : 00, Monday to Friday, on call, first to float, rotating holiday call

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 1 year(s) of experience required

License : Driver's license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have : Cath lab experience, diagnostic and balloon angioplasty caths. Prefer experience with cardioversions, loop recorders, EP cases.

Job Description :

• Responsible for RN duties during cath procedures.
• Serve as a backup RN for TEE, CV, Loop recorder insertion, etc.
• Open book exam during orientation on skills learned. Must score 90% or above to continue employment.
• Candidate must be located outside a 50-mile radius of the specified location.
• Experience with common cardiac diagnoses such as CAD, STEMI, and other cardiac conditions.
• Work primarily in acute inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Utilize EMR systems such as Epic and Siemens.
• Shift scheduling includes weekdays, with input into on-call scheduling.
• Weeknight on-call requirements : 1-2 days / week.
• Weekend / Call requirements : One weekend per month.
• Holiday / Call requirements : Rotating holiday call.
• Call response time : Less than 30 minutes.
• Floating requirements : As needed.
• Dress code : Hospital-provided surgical scrubs.
• Orientation involves system classes and lab-specific training, duration based on experience.
• Required to adhere to a radius rule of 50 miles for eligibility.
• Additional requested time off will not be approved after submissions.
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per assignment.
• Utilize EPIC charting system.
• Trauma Level 3 care setting.
