Overview

Applications Technician / Lawn Care Technician role at Senske Services. Our Application Technicians provide service to residential or commercial client properties in a timely, safe manner, using hand and powered equipment to apply products to treat lawns. You will perform soil analysis and control insects, diseases, and unsightly weeds. You will educate homeowners on proper lawn maintenance, advise on lawn and landscape problems, and determine appropriate solutions for each customer. You will use your knowledge to inform customers about products and services and may upsell additional services. Strong communication with customers onsite is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide service to residential or commercial properties, applying products to lawns in a timely and safe manner using hand and powered equipment.
  • Perform soil analysis and control pests, diseases, and weeds.
  • Educate homeowners on proper lawn maintenance and advise on lawn and landscape problems.
  • Determine appropriate solutions for customers' unique needs and communicate product / service information on site.
  • Utilize knowledge to upsell additional services to existing and new customers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications

  • Possess a valid driver's license and have a history of safe driving.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded).
  • At least 21 years old (requirement to drive a company vehicle).
  • Committed to safety and use of all proper PPE.
  • Friendly and dedicated to great customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently and as part of a crew.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
