Under minimal supervision the Information Management Analyst II role drives and supports information management initiatives and best practice implementation. This Trusted Expert role is responsible for executing and supporting Discount Tire's Information Lifecycle Management team operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise policies and standards to facilitate best practice data and information management, including data classification, use, retention, and lifecycle management.
• Drive and support the development of business-level best practices to adhere to data and information management policies, including personal data processing, email, chats, meeting recordings and other media.
• Collaborate with IT to establish, manage, and monitor privacy and information management controls (e.g., classification, sensitivity, retention labeling).
• Monitor and facilitate compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and data management policies using program tools.
• Administrate program tools for data mapping, classification, retention, and investigations as appropriate.
• Develop training materials for identifying and managing confidential, personal, privileged, or other protected data assets to support legal, regulatory, and enterprise program compliance.
• Support communications and materials for training and awareness activities (e.g., onboarding, annual training).
• Facilitate program adoption through a network of Information Liaisons (stewardship), organizing and leading meetings.
• Provide Trusted Expert guidance to business teams to meet information management needs and recommend improvements to information assets lifecycle management.
• Sustain the records and information retention schedule, including maintenance process, user training, and adoption.
• Provide subject matter expertise for appropriate management of digital and physical data assets in collaboration with owning Business Segments.
• Participate as a SME on data management focused teams and working groups; assess practices and report improvement recommendations to leadership.
• Identify, build, monitor, and analyze ILM processes and metrics for continuous improvement.
