Prysmian is the world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry. Each year, the company manufactures thousands of miles of underground and submarine cables and systems for power transmission and distribution, as well as medium low voltage cables for the construction and infrastructure sectors. A supervisor's job is to manage employees, ensure work is done well, and communicate with upper management.

Responsibilities include :

Communicate : Act as a liaison between employees and management.

Support employees : Identify development needs and help employees succeed.

Prepare reports : Create reports and updates for management.

Interview employees : Screen and interview potential employees.

Plan work : Assign tasks, and set priorities.

Provide guidance : Help employees understand what's expected of them and how to do it.

Monitor performance : Evaluate employee work and provide feedback.
