What is the mission?
As the Early Engagement lead, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of supply chain strategies that support Lockheed Martin Space's capture efforts. This will involve :
- Partnering with Capture leadership and managers to develop and maintain the supply chain elements of the capture win plan process, ensuring that supply chain considerations are fully integrated into capture strategies.
- Maintaining and keeping up-to-date the Early Engagement supply chain guidebook, ensuring that it remains a relevant and effective tool for supply chain professionals.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with other business areas to implement a OneLM Early Engagement process, driving consistency and standardization across the organization.
- Developing and executing processes for integrating supply chain management within LM Space's business development and Mission Strategy and Advanced Capabilities (MSAC) teams, ensuring that supply chain considerations are fully integrated into business development and capture strategies.
- Mentoring supply chain professionals on strategy and early engagement principles, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise.
- Evaluating supply chain strategies in captures to ensure effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for enhancement.

As an International Supply Chain Region Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional supply chain strategies that drive business growth and capture opportunities for Lockheed Martin Space. This will involve :
Developing and maintaining intimate knowledge of the regional supply chain industry, technologies, and capabilities, as well as Space's technical capabilities by Line of Business (LOB) and specific LOB captures within the region.Staying up to date on in-country rules, regulations, cross-BA priorities, and Industrial Development (ID) / Industrial Partnership (IP) / offset requirements, and ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations.Identifying and driving regional supply chain opportunities that increase capture Position to Win (PTW) to closure, with a focus on resiliency and anti-fragility.Developing and executing regional supply chain technology investment projects, including identification, funding, execution, and closure.Presenting regional and country-specific Strategic Placemats to leadership and driving proactive action to address regional supply chain challenges and opportunities.Building relationships with local industry partners, and canvassing for opportunities to promote Space's product portfolio, capabilities, and technologies.Conducting on-site supplier assessments, capability reviews, and presenting 'how-to-do-business-with-LM-Space' sessions to support cross-BA roadshows.To be effective, ideally, you should also have :
A solid understanding of Lockheed Martin's global supply chain operations, including Subcontract Program Management principles, resiliency initiatives, and systems / tools.A broad understanding of Lockheed Martin's business and product landscape, including the company's major programs, platforms, and technologies, with the ability to understand how they intersect and support the company's overall business strategy and goals, and identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and collaboration.Direct experience in and understanding of Lockheed Martin Space's business, Programs, Lines of Businesses, Product Centers, and IGNITE.Experience working across multiple business areas, including Space, Aeronautics, Missiles and Fire Control, and Rotary and Mission Systems, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive results.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with others, build strong relationships, and drive results through proactive and organized approaches, demonstrating a high degree of self-motivation, initiative, and a strong work ethic.Ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex technical concepts and ideas to diverse audiences, including executives, peers, customers, international suppliers, and stakeholders, in a way that is easy to understand and actionable, with the ability to adapt communication style to varying levels of technical expertise and business acumen.Joining Lockheed Martin Space means becoming part of a global network of passionate professionals dedicated to safety and shaping the future of defense capabilities.
