job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including assisting with questions and offering directions as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols in and around the retail location, including public areas, employee-only sections, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any suspicious activity, property damage, or hazards, documenting incidents accurately and thoroughly according to Allied Universal guidelines. Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or medical emergencies as directed by site protocols. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft or disruptive behavior and to provide a sense of security-related support to customers and staff. Collaborate with location staff, management, and / or law enforcement as needed to address concerns or incidents. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a Security Professional - Shopping Center Patrol in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a bustling retail environment. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
