Space Solutions MDA & Red Stone Arsenal Capture Manager
The Space Solutions MDA & Red Stone Arsenal Capture Manager (CM) has primary responsibility for overall capture of qualified pipeline opportunities, supporting the Space Solution business within Defense & Intel. Huntsville, AL area preferred, remote locations near major offices and / or customers as required.
The successful candidate will develop and nurture key customer and industry contacts; lead capture management activities throughout the opportunity life cycle; analyze draft and final solicitations, develop and implement the capture plan, and orchestrate all capture activities; lead final win strategies, value propositions, and differentiators development; ensure price to win (PTW) analysis is conducted and the PTW target is established; perform analysis of competitor strengths, weakness, opportunities, and threats (SWOT); and conduct team gap analysis. The ideal candidate is a strategic, high-impact capture leader with the ability to blend analytical rigor, customer insight, and collaborative leadership. They are equally comfortable leading teams in the boardroom and engaging decision-makers in the fielddriving Parsons' growth strategy and positioning the company for continued success across the Defense & Intelligence markets.
Core Responsibilities
The Business Development & Sales Lead will be Responsible & Accountable for :
- Capture Leadership : Lead end-to-end capture activities for qualified pipeline opportunities aligned to Space Solutions and MDA / Red Stone Arsenal to drive the execution of capture plans, competitive positioning, and win strategies that achieve or exceed sales and awards targets.
- Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement comprehensive capture strategies, including customer engagement plans, solution development approaches, teaming strategies, and marketing campaigns. Ensure alignment with corporate policy, risk posture, and business objectives.
- Pipeline Development : Support pipeline growth and opportunity qualification by shaping opportunities, conducting market assessments, and driving engagement with key stakeholders. Manage pipeline metrics focused on volume (qualified opportunities), velocity (movement through the capture process), and quality (pWin improvement).
- Customer & Partner Engagement : Establish and maintain trusted relationships with senior customer decision-makers, influencers, and industry partners. Identify and cultivate strategic teaming partners that strengthen Parsons' position and add value to both market access and solution delivery.
- Competitive Intelligence & Price-to-Win : Oversee competitive analysis, SWOT assessments, and team gap evaluations. Ensure Price-to-Win (PTW) analyses are performed and targets established to drive pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability.
- Collaboration & Integration : Partner closely with Account Executives, Business Development, Solution Architects, and Proposal Teams to ensure cohesive, data-driven capture execution. Coordinate with internal stakeholders across finance, HR, recruiting, and technology investments to build differentiated capture positions.
- Data Accuracy & Reporting : Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed capture data in Salesforce. Ensure integrity of pipeline reporting as the authoritative source for forecasting and performance analysis.

Experience :
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in business development, capture management, or program leadership within the DoD, IC, or Federal sectors.Proven track record of leading captures >$100M, from opportunity identification through award.
In-depth knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, federal procurement regulations (FAR / DFAR), and competitive procurement environments.Experience in proposal development, cost strategy formulation, and pricing review.Strong industry and customer network within MDA and Red Stone Arsenal customers and related mission domains.Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.U.S. Citizenship required; Secret clearance minimum, TS / SCI preferred.Ability to travel up to 20% (occasional surges >30%).

Salary Range : $167,400.00 - $314,500.00 This position is eligible for incentive compensation.
