Responsibilities

• Actively gather and disseminate market intelligence for each estimating job by talking directly with the buyer, the end user, vendors, and / or other sources of information.
• Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and requirements as the basis for formulating quotation strategies.
• Work with Estimating, Engineering, and Sales Departments to analyze customer requirements and develop a winning strategy for every quotation.
• Identify the optimum cost / availability of materials within the customer's approved material supplier or country of origin list and prepare material and labor estimates used in the quotation process.
• Learn to effectively utilize all estimating documentation and electronic programs to prepare the bill of material and labor estimate for all quotations.
• Complete all documentation on time and in an organized manner consistent with company policies and management directives.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation Range : $100,000 - $120,000 per year
