Litigation Paralegal

The Litigation Paralegal provides essential support to attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process. This includes case preparation, document management, legal research, drafting, and trial assistance. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence.
• Conduct factual and legal research; summarize findings for attorney review.
• Manage and organize case files, including electronic and physical documents.
• Coordinate and assist with the collection, review, and production of discovery materials.
• Perform cite-checking and proofreading of legal documents.
• Assist in preparing exhibits, witness files, and trial binders.
• File documents with state and federal courts (electronic and in-person as needed).
• Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and scheduling orders.
• Maintain contact with clients, experts, and witnesses to facilitate case development.

Qualifications

$80,000 - $120,000 a year
