About The Position

Position Summary :

We are seeking a flexible and technically skilled CT Technologist for a high-volume, fast-paced 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate must be open to varied shift start times and possess strong experience with GE and Toshiba CT scanners. This role supports both emergency and outpatient imaging, and includes high-acuity studies such as trauma, vascular CTA, and brain perfusion.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform advanced CT scans across multiple body systems (head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis)

Operate GE and Toshiba CT systems; manage images using Fuji Synapse PACS

Administer IV contrast and maintain safety protocols

Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care

Participate in trauma protocols and emergency department coverage

Complete timely documentation and follow department policies on infection control and radiation safety

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience (2 years preferred)

Experience in community hospital settings

ARRT (R) & ARRT (CT) – Required

California CRT – Required

BLS (AHA) – Required

Must be comfortable with self-scheduling system and all shift start times

Local travelers accepted

First-time travelers welcome

Technical Skills :

Abdomen & Pelvis CT (with / without contrast)

Routine & Vascular Chest CTA

Spine and Musculoskeletal Trauma

Head / Neck Imaging

Preferred : Biopsies, aspirations, drainages, coronary CTA, brain perfusion

Strong understanding of radiation protection and contrast safety
