We are looking for a dedicated individual to function as a cashier and / or stocker and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the store manager or assistant store manager. The role involves assisting in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs, providing exemplary customer service, and performing other duties to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork while protecting company assets and reducing losses.
Duties and essential job functions include unloading trucks, following company work processes to receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes, and stocking merchandise. The role also involves restocking returned and recovered merchandise, assisting in plan-o-gram implementation, and maintaining a clean, well-organized store. Superior customer service leadership is required, along with following company policies and procedures. In the absence of the store manager or assistant store manager, responsibilities include authorizing and signing for refunds, counting register, making bank deposits, and monitoring cash levels.
Qualifications include the ability to perform mathematical calculations, knowledge of cash handling procedures, and effective interpersonal and communication skills. A high school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience / training) is preferred.
