Warehouse Material Handler
$16 - $16.5 / hour
forklift operator material handler
- Twice daily, run the Finished Goods report from Visual, verify the report with the Finished Goods location and correct accordingly as needed
- Report inventory errors to Warehouse Lead and Inventory Controller
- Ensure all trailers are properly chocked
- Move product from Finished Goods location into warehouse inventory
- Forklift certified to move pallets from production with the use of a standup high lift
- Pull finished and stage per pick list for next day shipping
- Organize and arrange warehouse per molding schedule for production
- Load / unload trucks as needed
- Processes returnable packaging needed
- High school diploma / GED
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Able to work overtime hours according to business need
- Problem solver; able to troubleshoot issues independently or escalate when necessary; sense of accountability and sound professional judgement
- Experience managing projects
- Experience using MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Able to lift 55 lbs. up to shoulder height daily on an on-going basis without assistance
- Able to lift 50 lbs. above head occasionally
- Push, pull, bend, twist, and stoop on anon-going basis
- Grip and hold parts and hand tools continuously (8 hours)
- Use hand tools including manual, pneumatic, and powered
- Able to work with small parts down to a bolt size of 1 / 4 in diameter
- Good hand and wrist dexterity
- Steel toe boots / shoes
