A typical day as a seasonal, experienced tax professional means you'll serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team. You'll be dedicated to providing you with advanced tax training you'll need to be successful. It would be even better if you also had a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, CPA or enrolled agent certification, experience completing complex returns, and five or more years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax. You'll also need experience conducting virtual tax interviews, experience with tax planning and audit support, and sales and / or marketing experience.

What you'll bring to the team includes conducting tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools, preparing complete and accurate tax returns, generating business growth, increasing client retention, and offering additional products and services. You'll also provide clients with IRS support, mentor and support teammates, and successfully complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment. You'll need experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax, experience completing individual returns, experience working in a fast-paced environment, and comfort working with virtual tools. You'll also need to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing and must meet IRS and applicable state requirements.
