Your Impact :

This critical role is responsible for the identification, prospecting and closure of new sales through the creation of proposals, marketing and sales to new accounts. The role is remote with the ability to work across multiple time-zones as required. The role will play an important strategic role in the growth of the Engineering segment, targeting and promoting to new accounts, leading the sales process through contract closure. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of high-quality marketing content creation and sales growth, strong personal and presentation skills, be charismatic, driven and have a proactive attitude to lead sales and marketing.

Must possess the ability to interpret customer requirements, match services to customer needs and communicate effectively internally to compile winning proposals and solutions. Understands, analyzes, documents, and communicates contractual, technical, and commercial terms and has a working understanding of bid strategies. This individual will prepare and present a proposal, ultimately generating new revenue.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Provide strategic direction to the segment sales initiatives with a deep understanding of customer and market dynamics
  • Identify high-value customers and scopes for the company to expand to
  • Manage senior level strategic customer relationships ensuring that Pearce is meeting their changing needs
  • Provide strategic direction to the business through the annual planning and forecasting process
  • Keep leadership apprised of significant dynamics in the market or with strategic customers that could impact the revenue and profitability
  • Be the primary point of contact for the customer into the Pearce team through the sales process
  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders to develop pricing, solutions and complete any quote documentation
  • Oversees the development of RFP responses proposals, bids, quotations, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from customers.
  • Establish strong customer relations and expand network within strategic accounts

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience

  • Experience within the FTTH (fiber) and high-speed internet network planning space and familiarity with North American Telecommunications leaders and their unique network planning needs
  • 10 years of successful sales and marketing management experience

  • Have a demonstrated portfolio of communications work, including but not limited to social media communications, technical collateral, proposals, presentation decks, printed material
  • Have proven ability to coach senior leadership in communication strategies and content delivery
  • Demonstrated success in a cross-functional and multi-division environment; effective interactions with diverse audiences of executives, mid-management, and subject matter experts to inspire understanding and agreement
  • Proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented to successfully contribute to the Company's rapidly growing, changing, and complex environment
  • Comfortable in both a leadership and team-player role, manage team members, lead assistant meetings, and supervise when needed
