Shift : Night Shift (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Schedule : 4x12-hour shifts / week

Number of Positions : 1

Shift times may change based on permanent staff scheduling.

Position Overview

Methodist South Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for the Emergency Room. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years recent ER experience along with travel nursing experience. This is a Level I Trauma Center within a large hospital setting. Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility. First-time travelers are generally not accepted unless they have over 3 years of recent experience.

Certifications & Requirements

RN License : Active Tennessee RN license or compact license – Required

Experience : Minimum 2 years recent ER experience with travel experience (strict requirement)

Travel Experience : At least 1 completed travel assignment preferred

Education : ADN accepted; BSN required only for select positions (not ER)

Certifications : BLS required (renewal plans must be included if expiring)

Charting System : Cerner preferred

Skills & Competencies

Skilled in Emergency Room nursing with trauma and critical care

Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Adaptability to schedule changes and floating as needed
