We are looking for an Audit Senior to manage the day-to-day responsibilities of our audit engagements. This includes coordinating planning, fieldwork, and "wrap-up" activities. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements with disclosures, applying GAAP principles, and assessing internal control systems. You will also serve as a primary contact for clients and may be involved in reviews and special engagements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Project Management : Coordinate all stages of the audit-planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up-while managing the project budget and timeline.
• Technical Expertise : Apply a thorough understanding of GAAP and GAAS to complex client situations.
• Supervision & Mentorship : Supervise audit staff, review work papers, and provide constructive feedback to help team members grow.
• Client Relations : Serve as the primary contact for clients, building strong relationships and providing clear communication.
• Financial Reporting : Prepare and / or review financial statements and disclosures in accordance with GAAP.
• Internal Controls : Document, validate, and assess the effectiveness of internal control systems and recommend improvements.
• Research : Conduct research on complex accounting issues and document your findings clearly.

This is an office-based role, but you may occasionally work at client sites, including warehouses or factory floors.
