About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in a similar specialty required

License : NC or Compact License required prior to start

Certifications : BCLS required; ACLS preferred

Must-Have :

• Management of dysrhythmias
• O2 Protocol Management
• Non-invasive airway management
• Peripheral line care / management
• Isolation Precautions / PPE
• Electronic charting experience

Description :

RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite.

Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly turn into a cancellation and DNR.

Ratios are 1 : 6-7.

The schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.

Contracts can range from 13 to 26 weeks.

There is no call requirement.

Floating to similar units and alternate care locations is expected.

Candidates may be required to float to nearby locations.

Every other weekend commitment is expected.

Contract staff will be assigned to work as part of a storm team and / or hurricane team.

They may be required to report during catastrophic events or disasters.

All candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting the assignment.

Travelers should be comfortable floating based on their job description, with no restrictions.

All travelers cannot work more than 5 consecutive days and / or more than 60 hours in a week.

Modules must be completed prior to the start, with varying hours based on specialty.

Pending references at the time of submission are acceptable, but two manager or supervisor references from the past 12 months are highly preferred at the time of start.

Candidate's permanent address should be included in the profile submission.

No RTO will be allowed during the first week of the assignment due to orientation, and candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
