Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients in-person, over the phone, and via email.
- Handle a wide range of customer needs, including claims assistance, billing inquiries, policy changes, endorsements, and general account maintenance.
- Accurately process policy updates and changes in agency systems.
- Contribute to agency growth by selling new business and expanding coverage for existing customers.
- Guide customers through claims reporting and follow-up, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Document all customer interactions and transactions according to agency procedures.
- Educate clients about American Family Insurance products, coverage options, and available discounts.
- Collaborate with agency team members to resolve customer concerns and ensure a positive experience.
- Stay current on American Family Insurance products, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities provided by the agency and AmFam.
Requirements
Bilingual skills (Spanish / English or other languages) are a major plus.Property, Casualty, and Life insurance licenses are a major plus; willingness to obtain licenses if not currently held.High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.Previous experience in customer service, insurance, or a related field strongly preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others.Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, email, data entry).Ability to work in-office during regular business hours.Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to company privacy standards.
