Experience : Two plus years of PCU / IMC experience, Vent experience required

License : RN License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have : Vent experience

Description :

This position is for a Progressive Care Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit.

The unit population includes cardiac and pulmonary patients.

Experience with ventilators is required.

Working every other weekend is mandatory.

Holidays may be required as needed per unit policy.

Floating to other areas such as PCU, IMC, Med Surg, and ICU may be necessary.

The nurse-patient ratio is 1 : 4 in the Progressive Care Unit.

In the IMC, the ratio is 1 : 3, requiring vent experience to work in this area.

The Med Surg ratio is 1 : 5.

Candidates must have experience in the relevant areas mentioned.
