The role of a Software Engineer in the Corporate Applications department is to provide technical expertise to support BIW's financial system environment. A developer may play a lead or a member role, depending on the project size. The developer usually works with the technical project manager, subject matter expert, or director.

The Software Engineer will adhere to hybrid work schedule (3 days at the office, 2 days remote).

Education / Experience Required

  • BS in Computer Science or related field, preferred.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in software engineering and deployment.
  • Prior engineering experience in PeopleSoft, Workday, Hyperion, or NetSuite is required.

  • Design solutions to application change requests.
  • Develop code in accordance with design documents.
  • Develop test plans in accordance with our QMS process.
  • Create and maintain system documentation.
  • Work directly with internal users to resolve application issues.
  • Adhere to all QMS procedures and development standards.
