YOUR ROLE AS RESERVATIONS MANAGER As the Reservations Manager , you will oversee the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and the highest standards of service.
You will work closely with the Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams to optimize occupancy, maximize revenue, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the booking process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES :
- Manage all aspects of the reservations department, ensuring prompt, courteous, and efficient handling of all guest inquiries and bookings.
- Lead, train, and motivate the reservations team to deliver exceptional guest service and uphold Mr.
- C’s brand standards.
- Collaborate with the Revenue and Sales teams to implement rate strategies and maximize room occupancy.
- Monitor daily reservations activity, ensuring accuracy of room blocks, rate codes, and special requests.
- Maintain strong relationships with travel partners, corporate clients, and VIP guests.
- Review reservation reports regularly to forecast demand and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure all reservations are handled in accordance with FORBES and American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts standards.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the department.
Handle guest issues or escalations professionally and promptly to ensure satisfaction REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS :
Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Able to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely.Knowledge of the menu and beverage list and the ability to communicate clear suggestions to the guests.Knowledge of the city, particularly tourist attractions and the ability to communicate clear directions to these attractions and facilities.Auditory and visual abilities to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderated and controlled by facility environmental systems.Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time.Able to lift and move up to 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis.Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.Manual dexterity required to use and operate all necessary equipment.Talking, hearing and seeing (vision) occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, Supervisors and other Employees.QUALIFICATION STANDARDS :
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel reservations or revenue management, preferably within a luxury property.Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage a high-performing team.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Opera PMS or other hotel reservation systems.Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as business demands.Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.Grooming :
