Job Description

The AI / ML Engineer integrates AI / ML capabilities into the data mesh, supporting metadata automation and ethical AI use aligned with DoD Responsible AI guidelines.

Responsibilities :

  • Automate metadata extraction using ML.
  • Validate AI / ML pipelines and produce readiness reports.
  • Ensure explainability, drift detection, and compliance in testbeds.
  • Support data-driven innovation for clinical and operational analytics.

What We Look for :

  • Understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data models; normalization and denormalization.
  • Knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading using tools.
  • Design and implementation of scalable data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Ability to design efficient data solutions based on business needs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information systems, or a related field

    • Great if You Have :

  • Experience supporting the DoD or other federal agencies in a data-centric role.
  • A Master’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • Expertise in NLP, OCR, and DoD AI guidelines.
  • Familiarity with Advana’s analytics tools.
