Professor, SCADpro (Industry Partnerships)
As a professor for SCADpro, the university's boutique creative consultancy, you will prepare students for real-world assignments and high-performance collaboration through insightful lectures, presentations, and diverse case studies.
Through courses such as PRO 540, PRO 560, and PRO 580, students will participate in collaborative exercises to expand their dialogue, discoveries, and collaboration skills and techniques. In PRO 540, you will guide students as they refine their communication, management, adaptive thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities through cross-disciplinary partnerships with peers.
In this role, you will adhere to all duties and expectations outlined in the SCAD Faculty Handbook, including coursework preparation, syllabus design and approval, office hours, midterm grade reviews, and more. Among other responsibilities, you will provide students with extra help sessions, extended learning opportunities, and field trips outside of regular class hours.
The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. They also display outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, along with acute attention to detail.
