• Unit : 4east, Main Building\n
• Healthcare Setting : 30-bed Med / Surg unit\n
• Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026)\n
• Nursing Shift : 12 Hour Nights (19 : 00-07 : 00)\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1530 - $1640\n
• Employment Type : Travel RN\n
• Dress Code : Navy Blue Scrubs\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state\n
• BLS certification required\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience\n
• Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills\n
• Preferred experience with respiratory diseases, renal and GI illnesses, telemetry, CVCs, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips\n\nMed / Surg RN Responsibilities\n
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy medical-surgical unit\n
• Utilize Meditech documentation system for accurate clinical records\n
• Collaborate with clinical coordinators, unit secretaries, patient care technicians (PCTs), and case management\n
• Manage patient ratios of 1 : 6, ensuring safe and effective nursing care\n
• Float within the hospital as needed per rotation policy\n
• Engage patients using communication boards to enhance healthcare experience\n
• Participate in weekend and holiday shift rotations\n
