Overview
Shopify QC Engineer role at DKKD Staffing. This position focuses on end-to-end quality control for multi-store omni-channel operations, validating all site functionality, express checkout, and martech choreography.
The company is transitioning to Shopify soon. The role may involve supporting Shopify-related development as part of growing the Shopify channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Shopify Store Quality Control
- Manage QA testing protocols across multiple Shopify stores, ensuring stability and functionality.
- Document and automate testing scenarios and test cases.
- Conduct root cause analysis with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvements.
- Work with channel leads and simulate end customer experience across channels.
- Validate front-end experience, including layouts, themes, and branding compliance.
- Confirm accurate setup and execution of express checkout, subscriptions, upsells, and cross-sell flows.
- App & Martech Integrations
- Test and troubleshoot third-party app integrations (Klaviyo, Submarine, Reviews apps, loyalty, analytics, etc.).
- Validate martech components (tracking pixels, analytics tags, attribution tools) across stores and campaigns.
- Ensure cross-channel consistency with influencer and DTC funnels.
- Pricing, Promotions & Checkout Flows
- Test discount codes, pricing rules, and promotional campaigns for accuracy.
- Validate cart and checkout experiences for all customer segments, including influencer-driven traffic.
- Confirm tax / shipping rules, subscription logic, and multi-currency pricing.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and fast page-load performance.
- Partner with development team to test staging vs. production parity.
- Security, Compliance & Accessibility
- Ensure ADA accessibility compliance across all stores.
- Partner with IT / security to monitor for errors, bugs, or vulnerabilities.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain SOPs and QA playbooks for multi-store Shopify operations.
- Document, track, and prioritize issues using project management tools (Jira, Asana).
- Provide detailed feedback to developers and cross-functional teams for fast resolution.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in QA / QC for Shopify stores or large-scale DTC e-commerce.
- Strong understanding of Shopify Plus, Liquid templates, themes, and multi-store management.
- Familiarity with Shopify APIs, checkout extensibility, and third-party app ecosystems.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify edge cases and inconsistencies.
- Knowledge of martech ecosystem integrations (Klaviyo, Submarine, Everflow, GA4, TikTok Pixel, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner across dev, design, and marketing teams.
Compensation & Work Environment
Base pay range : $110,000.00 / yr - $135,000.00 / yrSALARY RANGE : $100-$130KHYBRID : 3 days in office and 2 remoteTRAVEL : noneWORK HOURS : Vary based on projects. Standard ILM Office hours are 9 AM – 5 PM.CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS : Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident Green Card
