Step into a high-pace, precision-driven shop where you’ll independently set up and run two Davenport Screw Machines. If you thrive on solving problems in real time and keeping cam-driven equipment dialed in, this is where your expertise makes a measurable impact.

A Day in the Shop

You’ll arrive ready to configure two multispindle Davenports from the ground up. You’ll position and secure cams, gears, and stops; set tools in holders; establish cutting speeds and feed rates; and cycle the machines through settings to fine-tune timing, clearance, and chip evacuation. Throughout the run, you’ll verify dimensions, adjust on the fly to maintain spec, and perform routine maintenance to keep everything at peak performance.

What You’ll Do

• Machine Set-Up & Operation : Prepare, adjust, and operate two Davenport Screw Machines to produce high-precision parts.
• Quality Assurance : Monitor and inspect output against specifications; make real-time adjustments as needed.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting : Perform routine upkeep, diagnose issues, and resolve problems to maximize uptime.
• Process Improvement : Share insights that improve workflow efficiency and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Team Contribution : Collaborate with fellow operators, uphold high standards for quality, integrity, and customer service.
