SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the PCI Security Standards Council's Director of Training Programs, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of PCI training materials, throughout the full range of our training, from PCI Awareness to the training offerings across all PCI SSC standards. You will understand and teach the intent of the Council's standards to information security professionals, using your industry and information security experience to share the applicability of the PCI requirements, as well as insights into compliance assessment work. You will help shape and improve the future development of the Council's training materials.

What you will be doing in this role :

• Work with the Director of Training Programs, other PCI SSC staff, and PCI Community stakeholders to develop and maintain training material.
• Conduct training courses, in-person and online, on behalf of the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC). Courses are intended to educate assessors, merchants, and acquirers as well as other interested parties regarding the intent and application of the PCI standards and their corresponding PCI program frameworks.
• Assist in development of content as assigned, that will be used within PCI training courses and will contribute to the design and development of the technical training curriculum for both in-person and online classes.
• Liaise with applicable Working Groups to help define the prerequisite skills and knowledge for trainees within each PCI SSC program and the Continuing Education credits required for recertification.
• Ensure that training courses include content to address the needs of all potential course candidates from inexperienced Knowledge Training candidates through veteran employees within the Information Security and payments industry.
• Review and analyze course evaluations to determine the effectiveness of training sessions.
• Implement revisions to course materials as necessary to improve training effectiveness.
• Keep informed of, and maintain proficiency with information security best practices, current PCI standards, and cryptographic and tokenization practices.

The starting minimum salary for this role is $120,000 USD annually, plus bonus. The final compensation will be based on skills, experience, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
