An established, privately-owned engineering and manufacturing organization is seeking a Technical Project Engineer to join their team. This company develops and manufactures high-performance propulsion systems for military and commercial aerospace applications, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Position Overview
The Technical Project Engineer will manage projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring high-quality output within schedule and cost constraints. This cross-functional role supports design and manufacturing tasks while collecting and reporting program status to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Work within an integrated manufacturing and product design team.
Develop discrepancy-free processes by improving work instructions, design intent, and process techniques through data-driven statistical analysis to support full PPAP verification.
Ensure on-time product qualification by :
Addressing customer questions regarding product manufacture through the Manufacturing Maturity Assessment (MMA) process.
Seek cross-functional opportunities to expand knowledge in manufacturing process development, product qualification, design, and testing from a project and systems perspective.
Qualifications
Highly motivated, organized, approachable, natural planner, and decisive.
Ability to summarize and present critical program elements, current status, and future plans.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with NX and Teamcenter.
Excellent time management, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
U.S. citizenship required.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed (eligibility required).
Preferred Qualifications
Customer interface experience.
Familiarity with PPAP, statistics, or product quality.
Experience with DoD programs.
Active Secret Clearance.
