Registered Nurse (RN) Short Stay Unit - Relocation Offered!

General Summary of Position This is for a full time or part time nights on the Short Stay / Observation Unit at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital. Unit Highlights The Short Stay / Observation Unit provides skilled nursing care for acutely ill patients placed in observation status, and acutely ill patients admitted with various diseases such as arrhythmias, chest pain, syncope, Congestive Heart Failure, and pacemakers, as well as other medical surgical conditions. The unit consist of 32 beds and average patient stay is 24-48 hours. Gain great experience in a fast-paced environment and advance your telemetry skills. Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred. Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
