Your Role on the Team

Position Summary : Incumbent provides high-level administrative support to the Director of Nursing Quality, Research and Education and the Clinical Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurse Specialists, PICC and Wound Care Nurses and Patient Education staff. Independently coordinates the Nursing tuition reimbursement program, staff payments for preceptor and mentor programs, and event planning for nursing expos and symposiums. Drives the agenda for the policy review committee and other assigned aspects of projects or on-going programs. Gathers, organizes and maintains detailed information for efficient access, develops and maintains spreadsheets and reports providing background information and, as appropriate, presents options for problem resolution. Serves on several committees by preparing minutes, communicating policies and procedures, and securing clarification as needed. Coordinates and maintains detailed calendars and creates and edits a variety of documents on behalf of others or for own signature

Required Qualifications :

• A minimum of three years of administrative office experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Skill to analyze, organize and independently prioritize work assignments
• Resourcefulness to identify and search for information that is not readily available
• Demonstrated experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
• Ability to appropriately deal with stressful situations and individuals while remaining calm and professionalPreferred Qualifications :
