Internal Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity near Tieton, WA

We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in a well-established healthcare setting near Tieton, WA. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide care to patients while enjoying the scenic beauty of the region. The position offers long-term locum tenens coverage with the potential for permanent placement.

Position Details :

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • End Date : Ongoing, long-term coverage needed
  • Location : Near Tieton, WA
  • Facility Type : Outpatient clinic setting (no inpatient duties)
  • Practice Details :

Provide care for a steady patient load of 16-18 patients per shift

  • Board certification required
  • Epic EMR system in place for streamlined operations
  • Credentialing timeframe : 45-90 days (expedited options available for clean history)

    • Call and Shift Information :

  • Call Type : Beeper
  • Call Frequency : 1 : 8 (minimal phone consults and call-backs)
  • Call Response Time : 30 minutes
  • Phone Consults : Average of 2-3 per 24 hours
  • Admissions : None required

    • Support and Team Structure :

  • Strong support staff includes :

    • 4 Registered Nurses

  • 1 Medical Assistant
  • 3 PA / NPs
  • Additional office staff on-site
  • No supervision of residents or advanced practice providers required

    • Requirements :

  • Licensing : Must be licensed in Washington or through IMLC
  • Certifications :

    • Board Certified in Internal Medicine

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Privileges : Temporary hospital privileges available
