Job Title : Technical Writer

Location : Vienna, VA or Pensacola, FL

Compensation : Open to Both C2C and W2 options

Contractor Work Model : Hybrid (on-site 2 days / week)

Job Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and guides to assist end-users and IT teams.
• Gather technical information by interviewing analysts, engineers, and staff.
• Research, analyze, develop, and maintain comprehensive documentation including user guides, API documentation, and technical specifications.
• Plan, design, develop, and implement technical controls, procedures, and policies related to compliance, risk, and governance.
• Translate complex technical processes into clear, understandable language.
• Evaluate and improve content organization and structure for better content management.
• Ensure documentation aligns with software development life cycles (SDLC), COBIT, or ITIL standards.
• Perform editing and proofreading with high proficiency in grammar, style, and consistency.
• Maintain a strong understanding of software development processes, data analytics practices, and methodologies.
