Help lead the delivery of top-notch security services at New York's #1-ranked hospital. At New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, the security department does more than patrol facilities and campusesthey take part in amazing stories. In this crucial role, you'll ensure a safe and welcoming environment as you protect our patients, employees, volunteers, visitors, and property. Greet people with a smile, and offer a helping hand such as answers to general questions and directions to specific areas within our hospital. Monitor various security systems. Respond to emergencies. Investigate and report on incidents, and play a key part in initiatives that improve our security practices.

This is a full-time evening (3pm-11pm) position at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY, 10567.

Preferred Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree, military experience, or 2 yrs of collegiate courses in criminal justice or related field.
• Police and / or security background
• Valid NYS driver license.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
