Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine (Board Certification preferred but not required). Specialty in Internal Medicine. Demonstrated passion for improving patient care and consumer experiences.
Position : Primary Care Physician (Locum Tenens)
Location : Palm Coast FL 32164
Contract : 60 day assignment (conversion opportunity)
Worksite Setting : Outpatient
Work Hours : M-F 8am-5pm
Job Description :
As a Primary Care Physician at a growing Senior Primary Care Outpatient Clinic, you will handle a variety of health-related problems in an outpatient setting, focusing on continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention.
Key Responsibilities :
- Working closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including nurses, specialists, and care coordinators, to ensure coordinated care and effective communication regarding patient needs and treatment plans.
- Contribute to ongoing projects and objectives within the clinic.
- Participate in Senior Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
- Documentation and Compliance : Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) or medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and company protocols
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary
