We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Auto Service Manager (MUST have experience with dealership & preferably with Nissan) to join our team; we are south of Chesapeake, VA in NC. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring smooth workflow, customer satisfaction, and achieving revenue goals.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the service department operations, including but not limited to scheduling and workflow.
- Supervise and train service staff to ensure high-quality customer service.
- Develop and implement effective service writing practices to enhance communication with customers.
- Monitor repair orders for accuracy and completeness before finalizing services.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to services provided.
- Analyze departmental performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor / Manager or similar role in the new vehicle franchise automotive industry for a minimum of 6 years.Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes.Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Experience in luxury dealerships a plus.Benefits :
