Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A prestigious K-12 school in Lenexa, KS, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a contract position. This role offers the opportunity to support students' speech and munication development in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist speech-language pathologists in delivering speech and language therapy services to K-12 students.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student munication needs.
  • Prepare materials and organize therapy sessions to foster effective learning.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights on students progress.

Desired Qualifications :

  • pletion of an SLPA program or equivalent training.
  • Certification or licensure as required by the state of Kansas.
  • Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings preferred.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
  • Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and adapt to individual student needs.
