This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. We are launching a podcast centered around migration, resilience, and untold stories. The guests are global and range from refugee resettlement communities to different countries around the world, and the goal is to create a high-quality, emotionally resonant listening experience.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw audio recordings
• Clean and polish episodes for clarity and pacing
• Add music, transitions, and light post-production elements if needed
• Help troubleshoot audio or organize recordings if something goes wrong

We’re looking for an experienced podcast / audio producer to help us sound powerful and meaningful. Your work will ensure these stories are heard with clarity and dignity.

You’ll be working with an organized team. We already have an episode structure, guest schedule, and recording process in place. You’ll receive files via Google Drive, along with notes and timestamps if needed. We'll handle creative direction, while encouraging your own creative input, and we especially need technical excellence and reliability.
