Iowa Licensed Clinical Review Pharmacist

A company is looking for a Clinical Review Pharmacist to support prior authorization reviews and collaborate with healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and interpret clinical guideline criteria for coverage determinations

Conduct outbound clinical consult calls with healthcare providers and patients

Document prior authorization cases and make clinical determinations in accordance with guidelines

Required Qualifications

Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy

Registered Pharmacist with a state license in good standing

PGY1 Managed Care Residency preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and clinical resources

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
