Seasonal Tax Accountant

A company is looking for a Seasonal Tax Preparer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Prepare individual tax returns (1040's) and potentially corporate and partnership returns

Provide basic accounting services as needed and ensure compliance with firm policies

Maintain technical tax skills through training and communicate directly with clients when appropriate

Required Qualifications

Preferred 2 or 4-year accounting degree, or relevant work experience in lieu of degree

1-2 years of tax return preparation experience preferred but not required

Knowledge of basic accounting concepts related to tax return preparation

CPA is desired but not required

Prior experience with a public accounting and / or professional services firm preferred
