Garver's Water Business Line is growing and looking for a Strategic Writer with strong writing skills and an ability to think creatively and strategically to develop client-specific messaging. This role calls for a collaborative teammate capable of comprehending and subsequently enhancing complex information, as well as understanding how to coordinate with diverse teams to get the desired information on tight deadlines.
This position will report to our Content Strategist and work closely with our pursuit leaders, business planning managers, content strategist, and proposal coordinators. Current Proposal Coordinators or Content Writers looking for career growth would be ideal candidates for this position.

Core responsibilities in this role will be to :
Work with pursuit teams and proposal coordinators on win theme development and cover letters; identifying, crafting, and strengthening win themes; and maintaining the strategic vision throughout proposals or statement of qualificationsLeading theming and storyboarding for strategic pursuits
Customizing content for strategic pursuit proposals as part of maintaining strategic visionCollaborate with pursuit teams and proposal coordinators on crafting, proofing, and reviewing marketing collateral content specific to each pursuit or audience and updating existing collateral, when necessaryAssist with drafting abstracts and presentation outlines for conferencesCoordinate with the Water Business Planning Managers, Regional Water Directors, Content Strategist, and Garver's Communications Team on messaging for printed and digital marketing collateralDevelop and coordinate content for marketing collateral requests, such as fact sheets and brochuresDraft and coordinate award submissions for industry associations (ACEC awards)Maintain and review content database, including bios, project descriptions, text library information, and other content as requestedWhat is unique about this position :

Minimum of 5 years previous proposal development experience in the Architectural / Engineering / Construction (A / E / C) industryProvide three writing samples (persuasive, technical, conversational)Provide cover letterProficient user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointBachelor's degree (English, Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field)Willing and able to travelPreferred Skills :
