job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMid-level candidates should have 3-5 years of hands-on professional development experience with the Apple ecosystem using Swift. iOS / tvOS app development life cycle including Apple App Store compliance policies and submissions requirements. Solid understanding of OO design patterns and concepts. Solid understanding of HTTP and REST-style web services. Solid understanding of unit test frameworks and continuous integration systems.
Primary Skills : Swift (Expert), iOS / tvOS (Proficient), REST-style (Proficient), Apple Devices (Intermediate), Automation Tools (Intermediate)
Contract Type : W2
Duration : 24 months with possible extension
Location : New York. Seattle, San Franciso, Burbank, Glendale, San Monica, or North Carolina (Hybrid)
Pay Range : $55.00 to $60.00 Per hour
Job Summary :
We re looking for an engineer who has experience in Swift, who knows how to write cross platform code, and is ready to push the boundaries of automated testing on our custom in-house runtime to provide the best testing experiences for our users.
You ll be part of the team that builds our automated player testing reference app for Disney+, ESPN, and Hulu on a wide range of Apple devices. This reference app will be used by developers and QA for testing, and client side integrations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Demonstrated ability to design and build dynamic multi-threaded mobile apps.
- Writing efficient, reliable, and maintainable code whether implementing architectural improvements, user-facing features, or fixing defects.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues, problems, and errors encountered across various platforms.
- Analyze and optimize application code for efficiency, reliability and performance.
